LGH has made a decision to use Lyra Health as their sole mental health option for their employees as of July 1. Lyra Health is NOT an insurance company, which many of us were told/believed it was at the beginning. It is a venture capital-funded, AI-based platform, created by tech giants, not mental health clinicians. One of the founders is a former FB/Meta exec, so there are many of us in the field who do not feel that client data will be properly protected. The change to Lyra Health means that many clients will lose access to the therapists that they have been working with for years, and it forces clients to submit to the use of AI, with no option to opt out of that. There are several reasons why those of us in the field are opposed to this change, as outlined in the petition linked below. If you would like to support us in requesting LGH to reconsider their change and allow their employees the freedom of choice to choose their own provider, please sign the petition and send the link to others who would also like to support this movement. Mental health care should remain in the care of mental health professionals.

This is disgusting and so dangerous. This will cause lives to end, make no doubt about that.

We at Thoughtful Wellness will NEVER, and I mean NEVER EVER EVER practice or condone conversion therapy. We will stand with you to admonish it, abolish it, and help you heal from it if you have been subjected to such torture. Yes, torture. The United Nations even agrees it's torture.

Please, can we go back to listening to science again??

The Supreme Court has ruled against a law banning “conversion therapy” for LGBTQ+ kids in Colorado, one of about two dozen states that banned the discredited practice.

This is the coolest! We love to read and any book worth banning is a book worth reading. I have a bag that says “I’m with the banned” because I love reading and puns. Hope you can participate!
