Today is Ryan’s 9th birthday! Last year in single digits. He had a great birthday! He got to take cupcakes to school and made sure to take his brother (Ethan) one. This is their last year at the same school 🙁 He came home to cake and presents. He was a very happy kiddo! He came home with a paper and all kinds of nice things about him written on it. I love this idea for kids! It was very sweet and he immediately got it out to show me 💜

Next week he has scans! 🙏

Ryan remains cancer free!

We got to NYC yesterday. We at MSK today for about 6 hours for an appointment. It’s gonna be a long 6 hours. Tomorrow we don’t have an appointment and will just go on an adventure. Thursday is injection and Friday are scans. Last week he was scaring me with leg pain but he seems to be doing much better. He’s not limping and says it “doesn’t really hurt”. He’s had a ton of fun walking around Central Park yesterday and climbing rocks 🪨

Ryan and the boys are having a good summer! Ryan goes to NYC for scans in September. He told me that he wants to fly FIRST CLASS for his last vaccine (that will be in May 2026). I better start saving! 😂✈️💸

2 years out from ringing the bell and tubie removal! Ryan and I are in NYC this week for the works. Today was a day filled with brain MRI, vaccine, injection and Dr appointments. Tomorrow is scan day! He had to be poked twice for his IV and handled it like a champ. His vaccine went as well as a painful shot can go. We are back at RMH relaxing for a little bit. We might go for a walk later to get some videos to send to Ryan’s friend. We’ve gone shopping and Ryan picked out a few surprises for his brothers. I think theyre going to love them. Yesterdayy we had lunch at Ellen’s Starlight Diner.

We dropped off 56 port shirts to MSK for other cancer kiddos. Last visit we dropped off over 40! My sewing abilities have come a long way since I first started making them. 🧵🪡

We went for a walk to get him a bath bomb today and came across this cool ice sculpture. We head home tomorrow with a 6am flight 😳 Hopefully we make all our flights on time! ✈️

Ryan and I are in NYC for scans this week. We traveled all day and got to Ronald McDonald House a little bit ago. It’s just him and I, which doesn’t help the anxiety. Our appointments start early tomorrow morning and does not let up all week. We have infection, MIBG scan, brain MRI, vaccine and seeing the doctors (not necessarily that order). Prayers for clear scans! 🙏🏼
