Last weekend, James Lin, D.O., Director of the LECOM Institute for Advanced Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine, and Ashley Sonney, MSN APRN FNP-BC ACHRN WCC, Director of Clinical Services, represented LECOM Advanced Wound Care at the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) Spring 2025 Conference in Texas.

The event spotlighted groundbreaking healing strategies and the latest advancements in wound care. Dr. Lin presented “Harnessing the Body’s Natural Healing Power,” showcasing real-world cases that demonstrated how autologous multilayered leukocyte, platelet, and fibrin patches can significantly accelerate wound healing.
