This is a memory of our Beloved Deacon Joe who, as our Spiritual Director, has poured his love and support into the men of Maria House. He came to the Lodge yesterday morning to visit with the men and serve the mass at 12:30. He decided to rest awhile in a comfy chair near the burning wood stove, and covered himself with a blanket. In the quiet setting of Fr Pete’s rustic Lodge our dear Deacon peacefully passed into eternity and served that afternoon’s mass from the Lord’s heavenly alter. Reunited with his wife, may they rest in the Lord’s embrace for eternity. We love you, Deacon Joe!
