While we will NOT be closing on Wednesday February 5th, we will be sending our pharmacist to Topeka to stand with our colleagues and educate legislators on the harm PBMs do to our pharmacies and our communities every day. If you would like to help us with our cause, please email or bring a letter to us to give to our senator and house representative, or feel free to email your local legislator in support of your community pharmacy. 📢📢We will go to Topeka to stand up for our pharmacy and our patients! We will tell lawmakers to make sure people can get their medicine, stop pharmacies from closing, and fix unfair PBM rules.

💊What’s Happening?
Big companies called PBMs decide how we get medicine to you. They make it hard for small pharmacies to stay open by paying us less than what we pay to purchase the medicine. They also take back money with tricky rules.

If nothing changes this year, closures like what we have seen all over Kansas, could happen here and the effects could last forever. Pharmacies that stay open can’t safely take care of all the extra prescriptions from other pharmacies closing. Mail-order services also take too long or don’t keep medicine safe, which could hurt patients.
