Spooky season is almost here at Nightingale Nursing & Rehab, and we’re gearing up for a frightfully fun Halloween! 👻🧡 Our residents and staff have a whole week of festivities planned, including door decorating contests, pumpkin carving, and trick-or-treat fun for the entire family.

We’re currently accepting donations of candy for trick-or-treating and easy-to-wear Halloween accessories, such as headbands, hats, and other festive wear, for our residents. Every little contribution helps us make this holiday extra sweet! 🍬🎃

Donations can be dropped off at the front desk. Thank you for helping us make Halloween magical at Nightingale! 🕸️

🐾💙 We had a special visitor today at Nightingale Erie! The ANNA Shelter stopped by with Spring, a 2-year-old pup who’s been at the shelter for about 6 months and is still looking for her fur-ever home. 🐶

Our residents loved spending time with her, such a sweet reminder of the joy animals bring to our hearts! 💕

🦉🦅🐢 A big thank you to Tamarack Wildlife Center for visiting Nightingale Erie! Residents and staff had the chance to meet Watson the Kestrel, Ruby the Red Hawk, Blossom the Barred Owl, Myrtle the Turtle, and Tammy the Opossum.

Not only did we enjoy their company, but we also learned each animal’s inspiring story of rehabilitation and how they became Educational Animals. 💙
