Did you know that Rain Day is celebrated in Waynesburg, PA? Well, we celebrated our own rain day by making Umbrella Chandeliers complete with fairy lights! Residents thoroughly enjoyed this craft!

Our pet therapist, Laurie, brings her dog Arie Rose to residents for hugs and kisses. Our furry friend is a fun friend indeed!

Our Environmental Service Manager, Al, is a true renaissance man. Not only does he keep our building operating, but he can also sing like Elvis as well! He truly entertained our residents!

Here are some fun summer crafts! We painted positive affirmations from stencils, and created airdry pinch pots with pressed flowers. We later created potpourri with wonderful essential oils for a sensory extravaganza! Thank you to Virginia for all your help!

Summer creativity is in full bloom at New Perspective! 🌞🖌️
Our residents turned everyday items into art—think tinkling flower-pot chimes, sassy decorated flamingos, and bright sunflower paintings. They even upcycled 14 paper rolls per blossom to craft 3-D flowers that will soon fill the activity room ceiling with color and joy. 🌻

We started Noodleball outside but got rained out, so we brought it into the dining room. Lots of laughter and fun!

Residents enjoyed a toddler visit complete with blowing bubbles! Nothing better than babies and bubbles!

Sometimes we have a number activities going on at once, and they often intertwine. Here we have volunteer Stephan hosting a monthly coffee and donuts for veterans. Laurie visits the veterans (as well as other residents) with her therapy dog Arie Rose. Lots of laughter and love!

During our Father’s Day celebration, our fathers posed with props and showed their happy faces! They enjoyed all you can eat ice cream sundaes with great music coming from our newly tuned piano!
