HVA is an alliance of regional, not-for-profit, senior living communities committed to offering the best possible quality of life for our residents. Together we pursue staff education and training, negotiate low-cost contracts for supplies, obtain grants to help defray the costs of training and operations, and share best practices for collective improvement. Education
The HVA Education Center ensures affordable, extensive clinical training for candidates who wish to become community caregivers. In addition to a dedicated Nurse Aide Training Program, the center offers compliance training, continuing education and basic life support training. The Nurse Aide Training program is available to people age 17 and older, and is offered at various member communities throughout the year. Rehabilitation Services

HVA negotiates low cost contracts for supplies that enable partners to dramatically reduce purchasing costs and improve their cost and revenue positions. Committees
HVA coordinates committee work with the various levels of staffing including: IT, HR, Purchasing, Directors of Nursing, CFO's, and ad hoc committees where necessary. The committees assist each organization in fulfilling their own mission and visions and allow for sharing of ideas, education, policies, etc. Continuing Education
HVA provides continuing education credits for Nursing Home Administrators, Activity Professionals, Accountants, HR and Dietary Managers through annual seminars and training. We also operate a 24-hour Corporate Compliance Hotline for members.
