On Veterans Day two years ago, Ian McKnight and Robyn Moore launched their new organization whose mission is to honor and recognize veterans across the nation for their service.

Today, they are thrilled to report that they are thriving and have created nearly 150 custom-made shadow boxes and delivered them, at no charge, to veterans!

This is a photo of the sticker that is placed on the back of each shadow box and when delivered in person, it is read out loud to the recipient.

It is because of you and many donors and supporters like you, that they are able to continue their incredible mission to honor and enhance the lives of veterans across the country!!

Go to their website: www.veteranspride.org to donate and to see many of the incredible shadow boxes that they have created.

Veterans Pride continues to honor and recognize deserving Veterans with more than 50 custom-made shadow boxes created and personally delivered since our inception in Nov. 2018.

Our Founder, Ian McKnight, retires next month after 30 years of service in the US Army. He enlisted in the Army Infantry on 17 March 1989 and is retiring as Army Psychological Operations, 26 July 2019. He achieved the rank of Command Sergeant Major, E-9.

"The driving force in my career was learning from my leaders and Soldiers, and leading Soldiers into combat knowing that we were a cohesive unit with the best Soldiers I knew. I love our country dearly, and love those brothers in arms that sacrificed with me, and those that came before us. I’ve lost good friends and Soldiers over these decades. I feel it is so important to demonstrate to all veterans, both present and past, how important they are, and how thankful we are to them for their sacrifice. I led a rewarding career due to the loved ones, mentors, leaders, and most of all fellow Soldiers that made my service possible. A special thanks goes to the families who provided support, strength, and love that motivated us to keep serving. I aim to continue to serve in any way possible, and I will never take for granted this beautiful country of ours or those that continue to defend it. Semper et Ubique Fidelis. ~ Outlaw 7 - OUT" ~ Ian McKnight

Another one of Veterans Pride amazing shadow box recipients!

"There’s nothing that could be done more beautifully and magnificently than that to show my career in such an incredible way. Receiving the shadow box was one of the biggest, strongest emotional moments I have experienced in a long time, I’m overwhelmed by it, the best gift I have ever received, a gift of a life-time!" ~ Robert A. Gillon, Lt. Colonel Ret., United States Marine Corp.

One of our recipients of a shadow box:

"As you can see from the picture, I have just opened the box that Command Sergeant Major Ian McKnight made for me, and there are tears in my eyes. Such a gesture! Such a grand surprise! I have never been so sincerely and deeply honored for my service in the military as when I received that wonderful shadow box of my military memorabilia. I am deeply grateful to Ian and my wife, Sherille, for conspiring to put together this wonderful, personal, and historic gift, a gift of a lifetime."

~ Daniel Raphael, First Lieutenant, United States Army, Medical Service Corp.
