The Erie County Medical Society (ECMS), works with the Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED), to address the many issues facing the medical profession, to advocate for MD's and DO's of all specialties, while preserving the doctor-patient relationship. The Erie County Medical Society is a voluntary, non-profit organization of MDs and DOs that has served the citizens and physicians of Erie County, Pennsylvania since 1828. Our mission is to advance the standards of medical care, to uphold the ethics of the medical profession, and to serve the public with important health information.
