This 90-minute seminar is designed for everyone whether you’re a mom, gym goer, or just looking to better understand your body. We’ll break down pelvic floor health in a way that’s easy to understand and actually applicable to your workouts and daily life.

We’re excited to launch our brand new class training split, Move Forward, starting April 6th!

This updated structure is designed to bring more focus, consistency, and progress to your training each week so you can feel stronger, move better, and stay motivated.

New Weekly Training Split:
    •    Monday: Lower Body (Squat Focus)
    •    Tuesday: Upper Body Pull + Core
    •    Wednesday: Full Body
    •    Thursday: Lower Body (Hinge Focus)
    •    Friday: Upper Body Push + Core
    •    Bonus: Freestyle Friday at 5:30pm (45 min Full Body - Trainer’s Choice) Emily S starting us out with a Sculpt Class!
    •    Saturday: Full Body
•    Sunday: Every other week - Inner Balance Pilates with Elizabeth

Each week will also feature a training theme to help you better understand movements, build skills, and continue progressing with intention.

To make your experience even smoother, workouts will be programmed the same all day, so no matter what time you attend, you’ll get the same structured, effective session.

Did you know that during the teen years, girls drop out of sports at a rate approximately six times higher than the rate at which boys drop out of sports?(1)

There are many reasons girls may become less active in adolescence, including declining confidence, concerns related to menstruation, lack of positive role models, and financial barriers to participation in athletics.(2) Unfortunately, this decline in activity occurs at a crucial time when individuals instead could be building bone density, muscular strength, and a positive relationship with movement and their bodies.

If you have been inside Motivate Studios or take a look at our social media, you are likely aware that our environment skews female. Therefore, empowering young women and helping them gain confidence and strength is a cause very close to our hearts.

In an effort to help change the narrative for girls’ participation in sports and activity, Motivate is pleased to offer a class on April 19 for girls in 7th and 8th grade. Girls will have the chance to brainstorm solutions to some of the barriers they face to being active, share role models and positive social media accounts, and participate in a variety of activities led by Motivate’s coaches.

The class will take place in a supportive, welcoming environment. There will be multiple instructors present (who have clearances!) to showcase a variety of training backgrounds and styles.

Movements from ’s Monday 5:30pm & 6:30pm Lower Body Classes!!

1 - Adding some conditioning to squat day with “Side to Sky Jumps”. Members explode laterally from one foot to the other and then explode vertically. This exercise builds ankle strength and stability, while also recruiting different muscle fibers (Type 2x) for explosive speed and power.

2 - A perfect complement to leg day, Kait’s favorite - “Sit to Stand”. This exercise is as simple as it sounds- but it’s not easy! The goal is to move from a sitting position to a standing position without using your hands. By doing so, you work on hip/knee flexibility and strength, as well as recruiting all muscles in the lower body and the core for balance. This is a great functional exercise to prepare for pregnancy or age-related decline, when getting up on your own may be difficult.

Alicia Krahe of Motivate Studios is a certified personal trainer that aims to help her clients create positive change in their lives by utilizing strength and endurance training. After earning her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology, Alicia worked to lose 97 pounds and decided to share her healthy lifestyle change with others. After earning her personal training certification and practicing in a corporate setting, she has opened her own personal training studio, Motivate Studios, located in Erie, PA. She is often asked where her everlasting motivation comes from and her response is “when I found fitness, I found myself!” Alicia enjoys sharing her passion for fitness and motivating others to accomplish their goals.
