Huge congratulations to Kelly Kennelley — the first member of the Motivate Studios community to hit over 1,000 classes attended! ✨

Kelly has been with us since the very beginning, waking up during Covid times and logging on for our 5:15am Facebook Live workouts. She is a consistent and committed member of the 5:15am early morning work outs. She is a leader and example of all around strength and intensity. 💪🌅 Her journey is an incredible example of what dedication and growth look like, and we are beyond proud to celebrate this milestone with her.

Big News — Please Help Us Welcome Kristin Pawlowski & Katy Wolfrom to the Motivate Team!

We’re thrilled to introduce two incredible additions to our training crew — Kristin and Katy — who are both now accepting new clients!

Meet Kristin:
Kristin is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer with a passion for helping her clients embrace movement as a form of self-care. With a background in biology and education, she guides her clients in making meaningful progress both in their sessions and in their everyday lives. Kristin’s workouts are thoughtfully designed to be challenging, effective, and most importantly — fun.
Outside of training, she loves rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, biking, rowing, and taking her dogs for long walks.

Meet Katy:
Katy brings over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry and a deep love for group fitness. She’s always finding fresh and exciting ways to help people move, feel strong, and stay motivated. Whether you’re just starting out or a seasoned athlete, Katy’s coaching style focuses on building sustainable habits and creating a supportive, empowering environment.
She’s a strong advocate for balanced living and believes fitness should enhance every part of your life — physical, mental, and emotional.

Walk & Yoga Series – Starts April 6th!

Step into spring with movement and mindfulness!
Join us for a refreshing 45-minute walk followed by a 60-minute yoga practice, led by Elizabeth Valkanas. We’ll meet at the studio and make our way over to Frontier Park. Yoga will start at 10:30AM at the studio.

🌟 Member of the Month: Maddie Victor! 🌟

We’re so excited to highlight Maddie Victor as our Member of the Month! Maddie has been a part of the Motivate Studios family for over 5 years (she’s lost track, but trust us—it’s been a while!). Her energy, dedication, and positivity make our community stronger, and we’re so grateful to have her!

💪 What got her started? A friend invited her to a class, and after just one, she was hooked!

🔥 Favorite workouts? Strength training all the way—especially leg days! You’ll find her crushing it in the squat racks any chance she gets.

🏆 Biggest accomplishment? Staying committed to her workouts through two pregnancies! Even with extreme fatigue, Motivate kept her moving all three trimesters and helped her smoothly transition back postpartum.

📈 Biggest improvement? Consistency! Morning classes keep her motivated, setting the tone for a positive day—both physically and mentally.

🤝 What she loves most about Motivate? The supportive community! From trainers to fellow members, everyone is kind, helpful, and ready to push each other to be better. Plus, she loves the class format—just show up, follow the plan, and get it done!

March Madness Fitness Challenge

Get moving while you watch! Each week, complete the exercises and choose which ones advance to the next round. As you progress, the challenge gets tougher!

Brackets will be available at the front desk on Monday March 3rd!!

How It Works:

• Each week is a new round.

• Complete the exercises as directed.

• Pick your winning exercises to move on.

• At the end, submit your completed bracket to Joelle by March 31st for a prize drawing!

Rounds & Rules:

🏀 Round of 32 (March 3-9)

• Do 1 set of each exercise for 30 seconds.

• Spread exercises throughout the week (e.g., Lower Body on Monday, Upper Body on Tuesday, etc.).

🏀 Sweet 16 (March 10-16)

• Do 2 sets of each pair of exercises for 30 seconds.

🏀 Elite 8 (March 17-23)

• Do 3 sets of each pair of exercises for 45 seconds.

🏀 Final 4 & Championship (March 24-30)

• Do 3 sets of each pair of exercises for 60 seconds.

📝 Final Step: Choose your ultimate favorite exercise and submit your bracket by March 31st!

About Motivate Studios!

Alicia Krahe of Motivate Studios is a certified personal trainer that aims to help her clients create positive change in their lives by utilizing strength and endurance training. After earning her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology, Alicia worked to lose 97 pounds and decided to share her healthy lifestyle change with others. After earning her personal training certification and practicing in a corporate setting, she has opened her own personal training studio, Motivate Studios, located in Erie, PA. She is often asked where her everlasting motivation comes from and her response is “when I found fitness, I found myself!” Alicia enjoys sharing her passion for fitness and motivating others to accomplish their goals.
