THEREFORE HUMBLE YOURSELVES UNDER THE MIGHTY
HAND OF GOD, THAT HE MAY EXALT YOU IN DUE TIME,
CASTING ALL YOUR CARE UPON HIM, FOR HE CARES
FOR YOU.

It is easy to let our pride take over and cause us to be
concerned about our position and status, and we then
long for recognition and praise for what we do. There is
danger in that for it is written; PRIDE GOES BEFORE
DESTRUCTION, AND AN HAUGHTY SPIRIT BEFORE
A FALL. ( PROVERBS 16:18 )

Therefore it is important for a Child of God to remember
that God's recognition is far more important than human
praise! For it is written; GOD RESISTS THE PROUD, BUT
GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE. ( 1 PETER 5:5 )
After all; A MAN'S PRIDE WILL BRING HIM LOW, BUT
THE HUMBLE IN SPIRIT WILL RETAIN HONOR.
( PROVERBS 29:23 )

Now becoming humble before God is not self-degradation,
but is a realistic assessment and commitment to believe that
God can and will exalt us when the time is right!

So have patience and remember that it is written;
HUMBLE YOURSELVES IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD,
AND HE WILL LIFT YOU UP. Amen. ( JAMES 4:10 )

Jesus said "BEHOLD, I GIVE YOU THE AUTHORITY TO TRAMPLE
ON SERPENTS AND SCORPIONS, AND OVER ALL THE POWER
OF THE ENEMY, AND NOTHING SHALL BY ANY MEANS HURT
YOU."
( LUKE 10:19 *NKJV )

Whenever you feel tempted by satan, remember those
words spoken by Jesus Christ to His followers, then and now.
This means that you have the power to order satan out of
your life when you feel tempted. THEREFORE SUBMIT TO GOD.
RESIST THE DEVIL AND HE WILL FLEE FROM YOU.
However always, BE SOBER, BE VIGILANT; BECAUSE
YOUR ADVERSARY THE DEVIL WALKS ABOUT LIKE A
ROARING LION, SEEKING WHOM HE MAY DEVOUR.
( JAMES 4:7) & ( 1 PETER 5:8 )

So always; PUT ON THE FULL ARMOR OF GOD, SO THAT
YOU CAN TAKE YOUR STAND AGAINST THE DEVIL�S
SCHEMES. ( EPHESIANS 6:11 )

Now please do not take the first verse to literally.
After all, if you come across a rattlesnake or a scorpion, please
don't try to trample either one. I can promise you that neither the
rattlesnake nor the scorpion has read the Bible, and both will try

AND THE LORD, HE IS THE ONE WHO GOES BEFORE
YOU. HE WILL BE WITH YOU, HE WILL NOT LEAVE YOU
NOR FORSAKE YOU; DO NOT FEAR NOR BE DISMAYED.
( DEUTERONOMY 31:8 *NKJV )

There are times when we are fearful of current events
or even the future. Fear is a tool that satan uses to attack
our faith in our Heavenly Father.

It is important for a Child of God to remember that GOD HAS NOT
GIVEN US A SPIRIT OF FEAR, BUT OF POWER, AND OF
⁶, AN⁶⁶D OF A SOUND MIND. ( 2 TIMOTHY 1:7 )
God has also made us this promise, FOR I, THE LORD YOUR GOD,
WILL HOLD YOUR RIGHT HAND, SAYIùNG TO YOU, 'FEAR
NOT, I WILL HELP YOU'. ( ISAIAH 41:13 )

So, the next time that fear strikes you remember
to hold fast to your faith! After all you can always CAST YOUR
BURDEN ON THE LORD, AND HE SHALL SUSTAIN YOU;
HE SHALL NEVER PERMIT THE RIGHTEOUS TO BE
MOVED. AMEN. ( PSALM 55:22 )

I WAITED PATIENTLY FOR THE LORD; HE TURNED TO ME
AND HEARD MY CRY.
( PSALM 40:1*NIV )

Those are the words of King David, but they can apply to us
as well. As long as we practice patience in our life, and with
our prayers as well. After all it is written; WHOEVER IS PATIENT
HAS GREAT UNDERSTANDING, BUT ONE WHO IS QUICK-
TEMPERED DISPLAYS FOLLY. ( PROVERBS 14:29 )

Now when it comes to our prayers, remember that; THE LORD IS NOT
SLOW IN KEEPING HIS PROMISE, AS SOME UNDERSTAND
SLOWNESS. ( 2 PETER 3:9 ) So BROTHERS AND SISTERS, AS
AN EXAMPLE OF PATIENCE IN THE FACE OF SUFFERING,
TAKE THE PROPHETS WHO SPOKE IN THE NAME OF THE
LORD. AS YOU KNOW, WE COUNT AS BLESSED THOSE WHO
HAVE PERSEVERED. ( JAMES 5:10-11 )

So always; BE JOYFUL IN HOPE, PATIENT IN AFFLICTION,
FAITHFUL IN PRAYER. ( ROMANS 12:12 )
Because THE PRAYER OF A RIGHTEOUS PERSON IS POWERFUL
AND EFFECTIVE. ( JAMES 5:16 )

Now in closing; MAY THE GRACE OF THE LORD JESUS
CHRIST, AND THE LOVE OF GOD, AND THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE
HOLY SPIRIT BE WITH YOU. Amen! ( 2 CORINTHIANS 13:14 )

O LORD, YOU ARE OUR FATHER. WE ARE THE CLAY,
AND YOU OUR POTTER; AND ALL WE ARE THE WORK
OF YOUR HAND.
( ISAIAH 64:8 *NKJV )

Now we know one of God's specialties is putting Broken
lives back together. For; THE LORD IS CLOSE TO THE BROKEN-
HEARTED AND SAVES THOSE WHO ARE CRUSHED IN SPIRIT.
( PSALM 34:18 ) After all our Savior Jesus Christ said, "HE HAS SENT
ME TO HEAL THE BROKENHEARTED". ( LUKE 4:18 )

Further, remember that it is written; IF ANYONE IS IN CHRIST, HE
IS A NEW CREATION, OLD THINGS HAVE PASSED AWAY;
BEHOLD, ALL THINGS HAVE BECOME NEW.
( 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17 )

So when you experience a dark time in your
life, know that God is with you, and all will be better soon. FOR HE
HIMSELF HAS SAID, "I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR
FORSAKE YOU." SO WE MAY BOLDLY SAY: "THE LORD
IS MY HELPER; I WILL NOT FEAR. WHAT CAN MAN DO
TO ME?" AMEN! ( HEBREWS 13:5-6 )

PRAISE THE LORD. HOW GOOD IT IS TO SING PRAISES
TO OUR GOD, HOW PLEASANT AND FITTING TO PRAISE
HIM.
( PSALM 147:1 *NIV )

If you are able, why not attend the Church of your choice
today, where you may join with others as they praise our
Heavenly Father?

After all, just think of all the blessings He has given to us,
including His Love and saving Grace! So; GIVE THANKS TO THE
LORD FOR HIS UNFAILING LOVE AND HIS WONDERFUL
DEEDS FOR MANKIND. ( PSALM 107:8 )

King David best described this in a Psalm that he gave to
Asaph, for David wrote; SING TO THE LORD, ALL THE EARTH;
PROCLAIM HIS SALVATION DAY AFTER DAY. DECLARE
HIS GLORY AMONG THE NATIONS, HIS MARVELOUS
DEEDS AMONG ALL PEOPLES. FOR GREAT IS THE LORD
AND MOST WORTHY OF PRAISE; HE IS TO BE FEARED
[revered} ABOVE ALL gods. ASCRIBE TO THE LORD THE
GLORY DUE HIS NAME; BRING AN OFFERING AND COME
BEFORE HIM. WORSHIP THE LORD IN THE SPLENDOR OF
HIS HOLINESS. ( 1 CHRONICLES 16:23-25 & 29 )

So if you are able, why not worship the Lord in
the splendor of His Holiness by attending your Church
today. There you may; GREET ONE ANOTHER WITH A HOLY
KISS. For; THE CHURCHES OF CHRIST GREET YOU. Amen!

PRAISE THE LORD. HOW GOOD IT IS TO SING PRAISES TO
OUR GOD, HOW PLEASANT AND FITTING TO PRAISE HIM.
( PSALM 147:1 *NIV )

We have many reasons to sing Praises to The Lord each
day! One of them being the many blessings that our Heavenly
Father has given to us. After all EVERY GOOD AND PERFECT GIFT
IS FROM ABOVE, COMING DOWN FROM THE FATHER OF
THE HEAVENLY LIGHTS, WHO DOES NOT CHANGE LIKE
SHIFTING SHADOWS. ( JAMES 1:17 )

Also HE also provides peace of mind, for it is written, YOU WILL
KEEP HIM IN PERFECT PEACE WHOSE MIND IS STAYED
ON YOU, BECAUSE HE TRUSTS IN YOU.
( ISAIAH 26:3 )

HE is our strength in times of need! For HE GIVES STRENGTH
TO THE WEARY AND INCREASES THE POWER OF THE
WEAK. ( ISAIAH 40:29 )

HE gives us hope when we need it, for THE LORD DELIGHTS IN
THOSE WHO FEAR HIM, WHO PUT THEIR HOPE IN HIS
UNFAILING LOVE. ( PSALM 147:11 )

Best of all, THE LORD YOUR GOD IS IN YOUR MIDST, THE
MIGHTY ONE, WILL SAVE; HE WILL REJOICE OVER YOU
WITH GLADNESS, HE WILL QUIET YOU WITH HIS LOVE,
HE WILL REJOICE OVER YOU WITH SINGING.�
( ZEPHANIAH 3:17 )

So PRAISE BE TO THE LORD, TO GOD OUR SAVIOR,
WHO DAILY BEARS OUR BURDENS. ( PSALM 68:19 )
and is always with us as well! Amen!

OH, CLAP YOUR HANDS, ALL YOU PEOPLES! SHOUT TO
GOD WITH THE VOICE OF TRIUMPH! FOR THE LORD MOST
HIGH IS AWESOME; HE IS A GREAT KING OVER ALL THE
EARTH.
( PSALM 47:1-2 *NKJV )

Our Lord God, the Most High, is truly awesome! He provides
wonderfully for His Children. Therefore we should focus daily on
our blessings and give thanks to our Heavenly Father for them.
For if counting your blessings becomes part of your daily routine,
you will find that your attitude toward life will change. You will
also find yourself becoming more positive, loving, and humble,
and you will then find yourself singing praises to our Heavenly
Father as well!

King David wrote, BECAUSE YOUR LOVINGKINDNESS IS
BETTER THAN LIFE, MY LIPS SHALL PRAISE YOU. THUS I
WILL BLESS YOU WHILE I LIVE; I WILL LIFT UP MY HANDS
IN YOUR NAME. MY SOUL SHALL BE SATISFIED AS WITH
MARROW AND FATNESS, AND MY MOUTH SHALL PRAISE
YOU WITH JOYFUL LIPS. ( PSALM 63:3-5 )

Therefore if you are able, why not attend the Church
of your choice today and, PRAISE THE LORD! OH, GIVE THANKS
TO THE LORD, FOR HE IS GOOD! FOR HIS MERCY ENDURES
FOREVER. AMEN! ( PSALM 106:1 )

"HE WILL FEED HIS FLOCK LIKE A SHEPHERD; HE
WILL GATHER THE LAMBS WITH HIS ARM, AND CARRY
THEM IN HIS BOSOM, AND GENTLY LEAD THOSE WHO
ARE WITH YOUNG."
( ISAIAH 40:11 *NKJV )

We are His sheep and He is our Shepherd. For just as
a shepherd protects his sheep, Jesus protects His people
from eternal harm.

Our Savior Jesus Christ said, "MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE,
AND I KNOW THEM, AND THEY FOLLOW ME. AND I
GIVE THEM ETERNAL LIFE, AND THEY SHALL NEVER
PERISH, NEITHER SHALL ANYONE SN**CH THEM OUT
OF MY HAND. MY FATHER, WHO HAS GIVEN THEM TO
ME, IS GREATER THAN ALL; AND NO ONE IS ABLE TO
SN**CH THEM OUT OF MY FATHERS HAND."
( JOHN 10:27-29 )

Now this even applies to black sheep, if they repent and
ask for forgiveness of their sins. So put your
faith in Jesus, for it is by our faith that we follow Him.

***NOTE: Black Sheep meaning - Those who are sinners, or
have strayed from God's path.

Now in closing it is my prayer for you that, "THE GOD OF PEACE
WHO BROUGHT UP OUR LORD JESUS FROM THE DEAD,
THAT GREAT SHEPERD OF THE SHEEP, THROUGH THE
BLOOD OF THE EVERLASTING COVENANT, MAKE YOU
COMPLETE IN EVERY GOOD WORK TO DO HIS WILL,
WORKING IN YOU WHAT IS WELL PLEASING IN HIS SIGHT,
THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, TO WHOM BE GLORY FOREVER
AND EVER. AMEN." ( HEBREWS 13:20-21 )

PRIDE GOES BEFORE DESTRUCTION, AND A HAUGHTY SPIRIT
BEFORE A FALL. BETTER TO BE OF A HUMBLE SPIRIT WITH
THE LOWLY, THAN TO DIVIDE THE SPOIL WITH THE PROUD.
( PROVERBS 16:18-19 *NKJV )

Destructive pride can be a major stumbling block in your Christian
walk! We are as God's Children to be of a humble spirit. For it is
written; GOD RESISTS THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE
HUMBLE. ( 1 PETER 5:5 ) It is also written; FOR THUS SAYS THE
HIGH AND LOFTY ONE WHO INHABITS ETERNITY, WHOSE
NAME IS HOLY:" I DWELL IN THE HIGH AND HOLY PLACE,
WITH HIM WHO HAS A CONTRITE AND HUMBLE SPIRIT."
( ISAIAH 57:15 )

Now our Savior Jesus Christ, speaking of entering the Kingdom
of Heaven said, "AND INDEED THERE ARE LAST WHO WILL BE
FIRST, AND THERE ARE FIRST WHO WILL BE LAST."
( LUKE 13:30 ) Also Jesus' brother wrote: HE GIVES MORE GRACE.
THEREFORE HE SAYS: "GOD RESISTS THE PROUD, BUT
GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE." ( JAMES 4:6 )

So always; HUMBLE YOURSELVES UNDER THE MIGHTY
HAND OF GOD, THAT HE MAY EXALT YOU IN DUE TIME,

He is our strength in time of need, and just as King David

He comforts us and guides us through any adversity. For HE HEALS
THE BROKEN HEARTED AND BINDS UP THEIR WOUNDS.
( PSALM 147:3 )

He offers us forgiveness for all of our sins, for it is written, ALL THE
PROPHETS TESTIFY ABOUT HIM THAT EVERYONE WHO
BELIEVES IN HIM RECEIVES FORGIVENESS OF SINS
THROUGH HIS NAME. ( ACTS 10:43 )

Best of all, He offers us Eternal Life; FOR GOD SO LOVED THE
WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONE AND ONLY SON, THAT
WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT
HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. ( JOHN 3:16 )

So know that you are in loving hands, when the
GOOD SHEPHERD is in charge of your life! FOR THE LORD YOUR
GOD GOES WITH YOU; HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR
FORSAKE YOU. ( DEUTERONOMY 31:6 )
