We pulled it off again. A great class with these young ladies. Babysitting & CPR Training. It’s important to know these skills. They got to see what it’s like to give CPR to a woman! Did you know Women are often less likely to receive bystander CPR because rescuers often fear accusations of inappropriate touching, sexual assault or injuring the victim? Well now we have 8 extra children that feel comfortable doing so!

Another successful class! 8 students are now knowledgeable in Babysitting and CPR! We also had a new member! Meet Barbara… Bob’s new gal. They got to see what it’s like to give CPR to a woman! Well now we have 8 extra children that feel comfortable doing so! Keep a look out for the next one this spring. Big thanks to Houston County UT Extension and 4-H Club. CPR administered to a sideline official in the Ravens vs. Raiders game. He was "alert and responsive" upon leaving to a local hospital.

LEARNING CPR DOESNT HAVE TO BE BORING!

Today I got the joy of teaching 5 children CPR at UT Extension- Houston Co. CPR class can be boring but I think these kids enjoyed it but I think they had even more fun as I faked choking while they performed the Heimlich maneuver on me. Tons of laughs and knowledge 🤣
