What is aqua cremation? 🌊

Aqua cremation, also known as water cremation or alkaline hydrolysis, is an alternative method of traditional cremation. It involves placing the body in a specially designed chamber filled with a water-based solution and applying heat and alkaline chemicals. Through a process called alkaline hydrolysis, the body is gently broken down into its basic components, leaving behind a liquid solution and bone fragments, which are then processed further to become ashes.
