Our residents enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon at the Co****le Social at Vista Del Lago!

The event was all about laughter, friendly competition, and connecting with neighbors. With casual games, rotating teams, music, and light refreshments, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Whether playing, cheering, or simply soaking in the lively atmosphere, residents had a wonderful time together. Events like this are a great way to build friendships and create joyful memories in our community!

This month, our residents had a blast playing Balloon Volleyball—using pool noodles! 🎈

This lively, low-impact activity brought together movement, laughter, and social connection. With lightweight balloons and soft pool noodles, residents gently tapped the balloon back and forth, either seated or standing. The game was simple to follow, safe for all ability levels, and easily adaptable for wheelchairs and mobility needs.

Best of all, it didn’t feel like exercise—just pure fun! Activities like this help keep our residents active, engaged, and smiling while supporting their overall well-being.

We can’t wait to play again!

Vista Del Lago residents recently enjoyed a heartwarming visit from Love on a Leash! Certified therapy pets and their dedicated handlers spent time throughout our community sharing comfort, companionship, and plenty of smiles.

These gentle interactions brought laughter, relaxation, and meaningful connection, reminding us all of the incredible bond between people and animals. It was truly a paws-itive experience for everyone involved!

🍕🌆 Chicago, Illinois–Themed Lunch Recap 🌆🍕

Our Chicago, Illinois–themed lunch was a delicious success! Residents and guests enjoyed a taste of the Windy City, celebrating its world-class architecture, iconic deep-dish pizza vibes, and vibrant lakefront energy—all brought to life at lunchtime.

We also explored the charm of the Prairie State beyond Chicago, highlighting Illinois’ small towns, historic Route 66, scenic parks, and rich cultural heritage. 🌽🛣️

From classic Chicago flavors to Midwest charm (and even some Chicago-inspired colors and sports gear!), it was a fun, flavorful event filled with great food and even better company. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a memorable experience!
