She came to us as an intended mother, and she brought with her something that immediately stood out: a deep commitment to advocating for families navigating fertility challenges. Through her incredible work with Fertility Alberta, she has helped secure recognition and support at the government level to improve access to fertility treatments for Albertans, including those facing fertility challenges as a result of cancer. This is a first and important step in breaking down barriers so that more families, across Canada and beyond, have a real opportunity to build the family they have always dreamed of.

Gestacy has participated in the Spring Conference of the Society for Ethics in Egg Donation and Surrogacy , with Santiago Agustín, PhD, one of our founding partners, serving as a panelist.

Together with Amber Patterson from All Families Surrogacy, Santiago presented the initial conclusions of the “International Surrogacy and Safeguards” working group. Both professionals shared the group’s early findings and emphasized the urgent need to showcase the efforts being made by professional organizations to ensure that surrogacy processes increasingly uphold the rights of everyone involved.

Let’s continue moving toward strong, rights-based regulation with a humanitarian and inclusive approach.

had her first embryo transfer on May 11 in Mexico City ✨💙

She is part of the Gestacy USA program and traveled from the United States to Mexico City because her embryos were stored at .fi , based on the intended parents’ decision.

During her time in Mexico City, Cindy, who oversees her journey in Mexico, was by her side every step of the way, making sure she felt supported and had everything she needed. Her journey has also been guided by Francisco in the United States, with both coordinators working together as one connected team throughout the entire process.

After the transfer, they couldn’t skip their lucky fries tradition 🍟🤞🏼🍀 They say it brings a positive beta 😉✨
