The use of herbal remedies is an important part of our culture and birthing traditions. Plants are the foods and medicines of our ancestors and we uphold this legacy by incorporating herbal remedies into our community care model. We with local herbalists to provide remedios to families and birth workers — we offer FREE locally curated herbal baskets for grief and postpartum support. Today (and every day!) we celebrate our resilience and our fierce dedication to reseeding Indigenous birthing traditions. Belin, Midwife & Clinical Director, has been with Breath of My Heart from the start — and she’s helped pave the way for Indigenous birthers and birthworkers to consciously reclaim the power that our bodies innately hold onto as genetic memory. Happy !
