team is soliciting motivated individuals who would like to volunteer their time to join this long time running organization. The Search and Rescue function in the State of New Mexico is sanctioned through the New Mexico State Police and The New Mexico Department of Public Safety. The requirements are: at least 18 years of age, a valid driver’s license, some experience in radio communications, a four wheel drive vehicle, an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV), snow mobile, or horse if possible, and some experience in mountain survival. Training in Global Positioning System (GPS), First Aid and CPR, radio communications, and map and compass reading will be provided. The New Mexico Department of Public Safety will reimburse fuel and oil expenses on any given state certified Search and Rescue mission. Garcia Sr., Chairman/Captain of the organization. Missing Autistic Boy

UPDATE: Angel De La Torre, 15, has been located and returned to his home.

The Las Cruces Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating 15-year-old male Angel De La Torre who is autistic and unable to care for himself.

Angel was last seen on November 15, 2025 at approximately 8:00 PM, walking away from the 5800 block of Stern Drive.

Description:
• Height: 5’9”
• Weight: 100 lbs
• Eyes: Brown
• Hair: Brown
• Complexion: Light
• Last seen wearing a maroon t-shirt and blue shorts with black shoes.
• He was also carrying a Trader Joe’s tote bag with stuffed animals.

UPDATE: Alfredo Paz, 83, has been located and reunited with his family.

The Las Cruces Police Department is issuing a Silver Alert for Alfredo Paz, 83 years of age, who suffers from dementia and Alzheimer’s and has not taken his medication today.

Alfredo was last seen about two hours ago at the 3500 block of Lohman Ave, driving a white 1985 Toyota Tacoma with New Mexico license plate GZG938. His last known phone ping was near Highway 13 in White Sands, NM.

• Eyes: Gray
• Hair: Brown
• White beard
• Last seen wearing blue
