Special thank you to Ray’s Corner and the Ray’s of Sunshine gang coming to bring us much needed fun on this cool, cloudy day. Today was all about chocolate with the Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory theme. Residents and staff enjoyed chocolate tasting and if they got a gold ticket they won a dollar bill. Several chocolate truffles, different candy, chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate covered fortune cookies and Oreos along with chocolate shakes. Thanks again “Rays of Sunshine” ☀️

Nellie received her Century Club honor from SDHCA. Her certificate states, "The Century Club welcomes you for over 100 years of contributions to the circle of life. May you now draw energy from the circle as we benefit from your wisdom." Thank you SDHCA for recognizing our Centenarians. ❤️

ENCC has added a new state-of-the-art call light system to the facility. Advanced Wireless supplied our facility with this new system. It is wireless, and can be moved throughout the room insuring easier access and will not pose a fall risk with cords on the ground (like the old system). This system will also have the capability to track the call light times and frequency of use. We also added pendants to our system which will allow our residents to go outside and push a button for assistance. Along with all of the new capabilities, our handsets have been upgraded and will allow for multiple channels to single out conversations between department.
We are excited to be able to offer this new technology to our residents and staff and I hope that it continues to enhance our overall high quality of care. Jason Hanssen, Administrator

Such a blessing Nellie was able to celebrate her 100th birthday today and we wish you many more! 🎂🥳🎉 Sure looks like a great time was had by all.
