May is also National Maternal Depression Month. Perinatal Depression can occur during pregnancy. Perinatal depression symptoms can be difficult to differentiate between normal physical symptoms of pregnancy. It is vital to discuss all of your symptoms, including your mental health symptoms with your Obstetrician at your appointments.
