Welcome to the Gravity Psychology Team, Dr. Robin Fatovic McDermott!

We are excited to welcome Dr. Robin Fatovic McDermott, PsyD, to the Gravity Psychology team. Dr. Fatovic is a Florida Licensed Psychologist who provides comprehensive, individualized, and holistic care. She earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Florida Institute of Technology and completed advanced clinical training at the Bruce W. Carter VA Medical Center, followed by a postdoctoral residency in private practice. Her professional background spans medical and rehabilitation settings, private practice, crisis and court-related work, giving her a well-rounded and integrative clinical perspective.

Dr. Fatovic works collaboratively with individuals and couples to create personalized, values-driven treatment plans using an integrative, trauma-informed approach. She draws from evidence-based modalities including ACT, CBT, DBT, and existential and mind–body frameworks. In addition to therapy with adults, she offers comprehensive psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults, including diagnostic clarification, ADHD and learning evaluations, cognitive testing, surgical clearances, and forensic evaluations. She has particular experience supporting first responders, veterans, medical professionals, college students, and other adults navigating stress, trauma, life transitions, and health-related concerns. Make mental health simple and practical. Break big ideas into tiny, doable actions you can try today: two deep breaths before a meeting, a five-minute walk, journaling one sentence, or setting one small boundary. Small steps compound into real change. Focus on what’s doable, not perfect, and celebrate progress, however small. Practical habits build resilience and make care feel possible, not overwhelming. Share if you believe mental health should be accessible and actionable.

Mental health matters for every woman. We carry roles, expectations, and invisible labor that shape our stress, joy, and resilience. It's okay to admit when you’re not okay, to ask for help, and to choose rest without guilt. Prioritize small, daily practices that support your wellbeing: set boundaries, move your body, speak with someone you trust, and seek professional support when needed. Your feelings are valid, your needs are important, and asking for help is strength—not weakness. Share this if you believe every woman deserves compassionate care and space to heal.
