Walk for Wigs – Cancer Awareness Event

Join us for our Walk for Wigs: Cancer Awareness Event!

📅 October 25th | 9 AM – 12 PM

Together, we’re walking to raise awareness and support for cancer patients in our community. Every step we take helps shine a light on hope, strength, and unity.

All proceeds from this event will go directly toward purchasing real hair wigs for individuals bravely going through chemotherapy — because everyone deserves to feel confident, cared for, and beautiful during their journey.

This event isn’t just a walk,it’s a walk with purpose, compassion, and community. Whether you’re joining us on the path, donating, or cheering from the sidelines, your support makes a lasting difference.

Happy Birthday to our wonderful resident Mr. Abelardo born October 16, 1949, in Puerto Rico! 🇵🇷
Al has lived a life full of adventure from diving the Great Barrier Reef in Australia to seeing penguins near the North Pole , and traveling to Hawaii and Paris .

A true handyman and lifelong explorer, he even worked as a mechanic and loved growing his famous Brooklyn tomatoes .
Now enjoying life in Florida with his family, we’re so happy to celebrate his special day here at Gulf Coast Memory Care!

🌟 Here at Gulf Coast Memory Care, we are immensely proud to work alongside our community and support the Guide program for respite care! 🌟

We want to take a moment to express how much we are going to miss our buddy Joe, who stayed with us for a month while his wife traveled back to Germany for the first time in seven years. It was a pleasure having him here! ❤️
