Today, a client that I have been seeing for more than five years came to me to tell me thank you, thank you, thank you …. She was not scheduled to see me, but came to tell me that she had gone to the doctor and due to the work that we’ve been doing together, she was prompted to have her breasts examined and that she is optimistic about what the results would be. She then embraced me and continued to thank me for caring. It was an embrace I did not know I needed, but one that I welcomed.
