Not sure where to start decluttering or semi deep cleaning?

🤷‍♀️🤨

I recommend a small area because this prevents overwhelming thoughts that invite procrastination in 😭

👉 do a really small area such as under the sink or a drawer. that way you’re not creating more chaos within a room which leads to stuff everywhere

👉 if you’re tired after that just revisit that room daily until the whole area is finished

👉 make a plan. when you envision what you want the space to look like then it ultimately comes together. write a list if need be and have your garbage bins handy

👉 don’t think, just toss. if you give yourself too much time to think about whether or not you need or want a product/item then more than likely you’ll end up keeping it. avoid this by ditching the hoarding mentality and just let go

👉 clean all naturally. cleaning with chemicals tends to cause headaches, feelings of exhaustion. be cautious because there’s those greenwashing companies that are not all natural and the fragrance alone can do damage to not only your surfaces but your insides. it’s always best to make or use your own. baking soda and Castile soap is all you need

Don’t forget that your home is a part of who you are! It represents sanity, sanctuary, peace and happiness so, create that and you’ll start feeling better about yourself, your space and your relationships 🌱❤️🙌

WHAT IS MINIMALISM

The word shouldn’t share you, it should excite you! Minimalism isn’t a style of living where you’re being robbed of everything you love. It’s just the opposite. You’re able to craft it in a way that feels authentic to who you are. When you attempt to go more and more minimal it actually teaches us to slow down, be mindful of every little thing we’re doing. So in essence, it helps us break free from all clutter; physical, emotional and mental. As you learn how you want to invite it into your homes, you can start creating everything you envisioned. That’s the key: visualize, feel the emotions and release whatever is invading your space.
