Hello Healing Waters Family! The the 2022 Estes Park Duck Race is only 62 days away, held on May 7th, 2022. Each year, 60-70 local Estes Valley charities and groups are selected to become Participating Organizations in the Duck Race. The Rotary Club of Estes Park organizes the Duck Race Festival and handles all the administrative, operational, and financial aspects of the event. During the Duck Race season, people may “adopt” little yellow ducks for the Duck Race and designate the charity of their choice to receive the proceeds of their adoptions. The adopted ducks will be released to float down the Fall River in Estes Park on Race Day. Volunteers at the Finish Line collect the ducks and Prizes are awarded to the adopters of the ducks that cross the finish line first. After the race, the collected funds are distributed to Participating Organizations and Charities on the basis of the number of adoptions credited to each benefitting group.

Hello friends and family of Healing Waters!

Hope this finds you well and enjoying the beginning of fall in Estes Park!

We have been able to be open through most of the COVID pandemic and will be hosting a virtual fundraising event this fall so stay tuned!

One of our most glaring needs is to increase the number of board members. Especially folks with financial prowess and fundraising experience. Time commitment shouldn’t be overwhelming as we only meet once a month right now and are planning to go to every other month.

In addition to board members, we are desperate for a part time employee. We can offer a hiring bonus after 2 months of employment. Please email your resume to apleigh@gmail.com!

Hope this finds you well and enjoying the beginning of fall in Estes Park!
