Tuesday was day 2 of backpacking across Europe. We decided to visit Germany. We spent the day doing a virtual tour of museums, learning about Germany, and having our own Oktoberfest. We had cheddar bratwurst and tried a new Oktoberfest beer for an afternoon snack.

This week is National Assisted Living Week! Our theme for the week is Ageless Adventure, so our building decided to spend the week "backpacking across Europe". Monday, we started the week off by traveling to Greece. We watched a virtual tour of a museum, learned about the history of Greece, and our Activity Director made chicken souvlaki for an afternoon snack!

Every couple of months, staff and residents get the chance to vote for an employee of the quarter. This quarter, it was one of our nightshift RAs, Eunice. She goes above and beyond our normal expectations. She is always willing to do whatever is asked of her by residents and staff, and does it with a smile on her face.
