We welcome Kenya to her first day of prenatal visits here at Thrive!!πβ₯οΈ
π new student on the block π
Meet Kenya! She shares a bit about herself below:
βHello, my name is Kenya, I am a primary student midwife finishing up the last part of my degree. The Lord called me to midwifery when I was about 12 years old and called me to the mission field during my last year of High school.
βI have spent the last 2 1/2 years serving in the Philippines as a missionary student midwife in a high-volume charity clinic, where I saw my first birth and was able to be blessed with being a part of around 200 more!
βGod designs our bodies in such a unique way and it has been an honor to be able to serve women during this miraculous time in their lives. I am excited for this next journey the Lord has me on and canβt wait to experience more of His blessings through birth!β
Kenya is a recent graduate of Newlife International School of Midwifery, the same program Cameron finished. She is working towards her associates degree with National College of Midwifery and is just a few births away from finishing! She is here until the summer to attend births with Liberty and will be helping mamas deliver their babies. You will have a unique experience of helping another midwife get where she needs to go so she can serve further. Kenya desires to go back on the mission field when she is a certified professional midwife, but perhaps we can convince her to stay awhile! π
Youβre gonna love her! Give her a warm welcome, fam π€ππΌ Look forward to meeting her at your next appointment!
