Good health is not first supplementation, but diet. Many health maladies can be fixed with what we do or don't eat.
Then we add supplementation to fill in the gaps or cleanse from everyday toxins that are sometimes unavoidable.

Great article!
SUGAR
Table sugar (sucrose) is digested into glucose and fructose. While glucose raises blood sugar, fructose is metabolized by the liver into fat, a process called lipogenesis. Too much fructose can result in the development of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, a condition in which too much fat is stored in the liver cells, impairing normal detoxification. Like alcohol, a waste product of fructose metabolism is uric acid. Too much glucose glycates our hemoglobin, increases inflammation and leads to chronic lifestyle diseases.

The good Lord made our bodies to work like a well oiled machine, and when one system of the body gets out of sync, the other systems have to try and compensate. Keeping the body as a whole in good condition typically doesn't just happen, it takes our attention.
*Take good supplements to support the systems that need it.
*Detox when necessary.
*Eat real food.
*Move everyday in real ways, walk barefoot when you can.
*Laugh often.
*Stay connected or work to build connections.
These simple steps will enhance the journey you are on!

πŸ‘‹ new student on the block πŸ‘‹

Meet Kenya! She shares a bit about herself below:

β€œHello, my name is Kenya, I am a primary student midwife finishing up the last part of my degree. The Lord called me to midwifery when I was about 12 years old and called me to the mission field during my last year of High school.

β€œI have spent the last 2 1/2 years serving in the Philippines as a missionary student midwife in a high-volume charity clinic, where I saw my first birth and was able to be blessed with being a part of around 200 more!

β€œGod designs our bodies in such a unique way and it has been an honor to be able to serve women during this miraculous time in their lives. I am excited for this next journey the Lord has me on and can’t wait to experience more of His blessings through birth!β€œ

Kenya is a recent graduate of Newlife International School of Midwifery, the same program Cameron finished. She is working towards her associates degree with National College of Midwifery and is just a few births away from finishing! She is here until the summer to attend births with Liberty and will be helping mamas deliver their babies. You will have a unique experience of helping another midwife get where she needs to go so she can serve further. Kenya desires to go back on the mission field when she is a certified professional midwife, but perhaps we can convince her to stay awhile! πŸ˜‰

You’re gonna love her! Give her a warm welcome, fam πŸ€πŸ™ŒπŸΌ Look forward to meeting her at your next appointment!
