Today is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day. But when you've lost a baby, every day is a remembrance day. Sometimes the days are heavy with grief and other days it sort of flutters along beside us, coexisting with hope and longing for our true home. In our deepest sadness, we trust the Lord to care for our hearts, knowing one day He will restore all that is lost. We hold fast to the truth that the Holy Spirit is interceding on our behalf when our words fail us.

Each day is a reminder that God has set eternity in our hearts and this world is not our home. Each day, we cling to this hope that God will bring joy and beauty from the brokenness.

So today, we might light a candle, read a special Scripture or sing a treasured hymn to honor our lost little loves. We remember that the Father can only be good. His mercies are new each morning, His compassion never fails and He will one day turn our mourning into dancing.
