This Memorial Day weekend, all of us at Bee Well Family Healthcare pause to honor the brave men and women who served our country and gave so much for our freedom. 🇺🇸

Today, we remember those we’ve lost, we thank every veteran who answered the call to serve, and we hold close the memories of the heroes who shaped our lives.

This tribute is especially in honor of my dad, Steve Ballard — my hero always. ❤️
Born July 3, 1941
Passed away September 24, 2023

He proudly served 24 years in the United States Army, and I will always remember him and the sacrifices he made for our family and our country. His strength, courage, and unwavering dedication will never be forgotten.

To all veterans and military families: thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your resilience. Because of you, we live in freedom.

Being a mom, friend, and provider is one of the greatest blessings of my life… but I think sometimes people forget that even caregivers need time to pause, breathe, refresh, and rejuvenate too. Whether that means attending CME conferences to continue learning and growing, or simply taking a moment to relax and enjoy life without stress and pressure constantly weighing on us.

This path God led me down was never what I originally envisioned for my future, but I can honestly say I am grateful for it every single day I wake up. Not one single day have I dreaded going into the office. I will go in early, stay late, and do whatever it takes to make sure everyone under my care is taken care of.

I am not perfect by any means. I am human. And sometimes I need to step away and take a break. But the truth is… even when I do, I’m still worrying about my family, friends, staff, and patients. Even on vacation I’m still logging on, checking labs, refills, and messages because caring for people isn’t something I can simply “clock out” from. My heart stays invested in every single person in my life.

I never want to be the type of provider who walks away at the end of the day and stops caring until the next shift starts, because that’s not how I would ever want myself or my loved ones to be treated. Compassion doesn’t end when office hours do.

I respect and appreciate every single person in my life who is caring, supportive, uplifting, and understanding because without you all, I wouldn’t be able to continue doing what I love most — caring for others.

I am beyond blessed to have the opportunity to do what I do every day. And I am forever grateful to God and to my Dad, who pushed me and helped guide me down this path, because without them I truly would not be who I am today.

I know this post is sentimental, but I think people should know the true me — the real me. I’m human too. I love deeply, I care deeply, and I worry deeply. And I wouldn’t want to give any kind of care to others that I wouldn’t want for myself or the people I love most.

I’m incredibly thankful for this journey, for every lesson, every patient, every friendship, and every blessing along the way. ❤️

💙✨ Dear Bee Well Family Healthcare Family ✨💙

I wanted to let all of our wonderful patients know that I will be out of the office for a few days. 🩺❤️ While I’m away, sweet Grace will still be helping take care of patients in the office, but her hours may vary each day. 😊

📞 Stacey will be answering the phones, so if you are needing anything, please give the office a quick call before stopping by to make sure Grace is there and available to help you. 🏥💕

I will still be checking my laptop in the mornings and evenings 💻☀️🌙, but responses may be a little delayed as I try my best to stay in “vacation mode” for a few days. 😎🌴☀️ Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding. ❤️

🌴 Clinic Update for Next Week 🌴

Bee Well Family Healthcare would like to let everyone know that I will be out of the office next week for a much-needed vacation and time away to recharge. ❤️

Grace will still be available at the clinic during the week, and Stacey will be answering the phones and helping coordinate anything you may need. Please be sure to call the office before coming by to check on Grace’s schedule, as she may be working some half days while completing training and following up on other office responsibilities.

💉 If you are needing injections or shots, Grace will still be able to help take care of those for you!

I will still be checking my inbox as I can, but I cannot guarantee specific times or immediate responses while I’m away. Thank you all so much for your continued love, support, patience, and understanding. We truly appreciate our Bee Well family more than you know! 🐝💛
