This is Mrs. Helen Bailey , she is our spotlight for the month of August. Mrs..Helen is 89 years old. She has been part of our family for 2 months .Mrs Helen has two stepbrother and one sister. Mrs. Helen was born and raised in Chambers County. Mrs Helen graduated from Lafayette High School in 1954. Mrs. Helen was 22 years old when she got married, they were married for 38 1/2 years Mrs. Helen and her husband lived in Easley, South Carolina, for 21 years until her husband was tragically killed in an accident. Mrs. Helen moved back to Eufaula and went to work for Henley Jewelers store for a while. She also worked for First Baptist Church in the kitchen for 14 1/2 years. She also worked at the sewing factory for many years. Mrs Helen loves to play games on her IPad, reading, playing bingo, and loves spending time with family and friends. Thank you, Mrs Helen, for choosing River Oaks as your second family. We love you.

This is Mrs Jean Robinson she is 79 years old. She has been a part of our family for one year, and we have loved every minute of it. Mrs. Jean was born in Greensboro, Alabama. She had two brothers, and she was the middle child. I can only imagine how spoiled she was growing up being the only girl and may I say well protected, having two older brothers watching over her. Mrs. Jean was married at the age of 18, and her and Mr. Wayne was married for 48 years. She grew up in Oriville, Alabama she went to 10 different schools due to her family traveling a lot. She graduated high school in Escambia, Alabama, in 1964. She moved back to Eufaula in 1965. Mrs. Jean has three sons, Jeff (Jenni) John Wayne (Debbie) Jason (Sharon) . She has 7 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, and 4 great grandchildren. Mrs. Jean hobbies are reading, biblestudy,arts and crafts, gardening, sewing, and cross stitching. Mrs. Jean had multiple jobs, but her favorite job of all time was working at the Historic Chatachoe Commission. This specializes in historic preservation and tourism for the states of Alabama and Georgia. This being said, the River Oaks family would like to thank the Robison family for trusting us and allowing us to love Mrs. Jean. We love each and every one of you as we love her
