The room was filled with beautiful paintings, unique artwork, and proud artists showing off their incredible talent. Each piece told its own story and reflected the imagination, creativity, and joy of our residents. It was wonderful to see everyone admiring the artwork and celebrating the colorful talents within our community. One of our very own residents, Mary Tye, a retired kindergarten teacher, had the joy of sharing her love of reading with a new generation during Read Across America!

We are so thankful to Lakeside School and Mrs. Blakely King’s Kindergarten class for inviting us and giving Mrs. Tye the opportunity to do what she has always loved—reading to children. It was a special moment that truly showed that the heart of a teacher never retires. 💛📖
