A huge shoutout to my dear friend, Autumn Travertini…she may not consider herself a hero, but I surely do! 💕🌟

At a recent family gathering, her sweet 3 years old granddaughter wondered into the pool with a life jacket on. Unfortunately, the jacket flipped her upside down in the water. Without hesitation, Autumn’s instincts kicked in. Fully clothed, she leaped over the patio furniture and jumped right in, pulling her granddaughter to safety.

In my classes, I often share how our bodies respond in emergencies…fight, flight, or freeze. Autumn’s quick action is such a powerful example of the fight response and how love, courage, and confidence can make all the difference in a critical moment.

We are so thankful her little granddaughter is safe, and so blessed to witness the incredible love/protection of a grandmother like Autumn. 🥹💗

Let’s give her some well deserved applause for being both prepared and fearless when it counted most. 🏊👏

Back in May, I had the pleasure of teaching Bella, 13, in my babysitter course. This weekend, she watched our 1 year old while we went out and she was amazing! 💛 So proud to see her put her skills to the test.

It took me right back to when I took the American Red Cross babysitter course and landed my very first babysitting job. There’s something so special about seeing the next generation step into that role with confidence. So proud of you Bella! 🌟👍🏽❤️
