There is in indeed a line to be drawn between caring for others and absorbing what is not yours to bear energetically 🗝

I share this because this boundary line has not always been so well defined throughout my life and in my relationships with others.

Being an empath I unfortunately learned this lesson the long and hard way spending many years feeling like a dead battery taking on the heaviness and energetic weight of other people's problems.

To be loving, kind, and caring for others is always where it is at, but sometimes we forget to set healthy boundaries.

We so easily forget that it is ultimately not our job to "fix" people or their lives.

And that love itself is enough give.

We often forget that we can choose to keep caring, keep loving, AND still allow the ones we love to have thier own journey whether it's the one we necessarily choose for them or not 🤷‍♀️
