Superhero Day 🦸‍♀️

While National Assisted Living Week focuses on assisted living communities, Evergreen is proud to be home to Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. To honor all of our residents and staff, we’re celebrating our own week of appreciation and spirit, September 14th–20th.

Yesterday we celebrated Out of This World Day 🌍

Today, it’s Superhero Day! 🦸‍♀️

We are deeply grateful to our residents for choosing Evergreen as their home and to our staff for sharing their time, talents, and compassion to create a vibrant, supportive community. Together, we make Evergreen a place where everyone belongs, thrives, and feels valued.

Meet the Team: Dalton!

Dalton Landis is our Maintenance Assistant here at Evergreen Memory Care, and he’s been part of the team since October 10th, 2024.

A few fun things to know about Dalton:

– Favorite part of his job: Feeling like he’s making a positive impact on the residents and community
– Go-to coffee order: Iced coffee (but actually blended raspberry lemonade)
– Hidden talent/Fun Fact: Plays guitar and other instruments
– Favorite thing about working here: How much he’s learned and grown while being part of the team

Evan Johnson is our Maintenance Director here at Evergreen Memory Care, and he’s been part of the team since October 14th, 2023.

A few fun things to know about Evan:

– Favorite part of his job: The wide variety of work he gets to do
– Go-to coffee order: Frozen raspberry lemonade
– Hidden talent/Fun Fact: Likes to bowl and play disc golf
– Favorite thing about working here: Making the facility a better place for residents and staff

Vanessa Coone is our Life Enrichment Assistant here at Evergreen Memory Care, and she’s been part of the team since July 17th, 2025.

A few fun things to know about Vanessa:

– Favorite part of her job: Sitting down with each resident to learn about them, play games, and connect personally
– Go-to coffee order: Any Red Bull blended
– Hidden talent/Fun Fact: I have a twin brother
– Favorite thing about working here: Planning games and parties, decorating for events, doing nails with residents, and being part of an amazing staff and atmosphere that makes coming to work a joy

Milton Adams is our Life Enrichment Director here at Evergreen Memory Care, and he joined on March 20th of this year.

A few fun things to know about Milton:

– Favorite part of his job: Resident interaction and party planning
– Go-to coffee order: Chai Tea Latte
– Hidden talent/Fun Fact: Was a model in New York
– Favorite thing about working here: The facility itself—the courtyards are beautiful and there’s always something pretty to look at

Paula Johnson is our Receptionist here at Evergreen Memory Care, and she joined in November 7th, 2021.

– Favorite part of her job: Listening to music during exercise every morning

– Hidden talent/Fun Fact: Can surf and ride a skateboard
– Favorite thing about working here: Laughing and joking with coworkers
