💛💚💜 Mardi Gras was a great success!
We celebrated Fat Tuesday breakfast with Paul Biondi and Gus Russell playing live music as our residents enjoyed a hearty meal and sought out the hidden baby!🎷👐🎺👶
Then we got busy with the mask making and hat decorating in time for the Hurricane Happy Hour in our lobby!

Skip Jones played for us then while our Activities coordinator served Hurricane cocktails.
🎹 🎸🍹
We finished of this festive day with a delicious Mardi Gras themed buffet! 💜💚💛

From cookies and catnip crafts to live music, singing, and dancing, we found many ways to celebrate Valentine's Day at the Eugene Hotel! Thank you so much to the Three of Hearts band for all your talent and the nostalgic love songs. Our Activities team did a wonderful job of putting together the delicious treats, decor, and crafts, all perfectly fitted to the romantic aesthetic of this sweet holiday!

Thank you so much for coming in for a tour! I am always excited for the opportunity to showcase this remarkable landmark so many have the pleasure of calling home.

Dee and I had the pleasure of touring the Eugene Hotel with Dandelion, and stepping inside felt like traveling to another era. This remarkable historic treasure is filled with timeless elegance, from the graceful Art Deco details to the glowing chandeliers and the sweeping marble staircase that seems to echo the glamour of a bygone age.

What makes it even more meaningful is that this beautiful landmark now serves as a welcoming retirement home. The residents we met were sweet & kind!

Places like the Eugene Hotel remind us that history is not only preserved in architecture, but in the communities that bring these spaces to life every day. I’m already looking forward to returning for the Gatsby-style party in June and celebrating both the rich history and vibrant community that make this place so special. Thank you, Dandelion — your passion and devotion to this extraordinary place is awesome!

This afternoon our residents enjoyed the musical tallents of Gus Russell on our Lobby's grand piano 🎹 We're settling into the last of summer, serving a variety of apple cider.
