Aloha, for my newest followers here is a little bit about myself.

1. I was born and raised on the island of O`ahu
2. I have lived in Eugene for close to 13 years
3. I have two beautiful boys named Koamalu and Lōkahi
4. I started Malu Candle Co. in 2023
5. My candle scents are inspired by my home state
6. I work as a part-time dental hygienist
7. I opened up a candle shop in December 2024 and closed it in December 2025
8. I enjoy doing pop up markets and meeting new people

2025 was a year of jumping into a business venture and learning from it in all aspects. I am glad that I took this chance to be able to experience running a brick and mortar business. Location is HUGE when opening a brick and mortar. I honestly thought that where I chose was going to be a good spot as other parts of that mall gets a lot of traffic. Boy was I wrong, and it is something that I will take with me in the future if I decide to open up another brick and mortar.

On the bright side, I was able to meet some wonderful people and I am grateful for that.

Mahalo to my customers who have supported me throughout this journey. To my new customers thank you for entrusting me.

I am looking forward to the year 2026 where I will use it to focus on my boys (while still popping up with my candle goodness at various markets).

I will be sure to keep things updated as I truly do appreciate each and every one of you who continues to support me!
