“Jackson Alexander the Great was born on January 28th.”
He was stubborn from the very beginning and decided to position himself in a frank breech position—basically meaning his head wasn’t where it should be, and he looked like a little swimmer diving the wrong way.
Little did we know how much our lives would change when we welcomed him into the world at 8:53 a.m., weighing in at 8 pounds, 8 ounces.
He was a good baby, an active toddler, and he still runs around like crazy.
He’s taught me so much and makes me laugh every day.
He’s stubborn (and I know exactly where he gets that from).
He can also be sensitive, which sometimes catches me off guard—but I love that about him.
They say time flies, and as a parent, that couldn’t be more true.
We joke that in about three more years he’ll be “out of the house and on his own,” but I’m hoping those the years slow down just a little.
Even when he does all the little things that drive his Mom crazy, he will always be my little boy.
Happy Birthday, son. 🎉💙
