Join us on June 2, 2026, as the Hult High School Musical Theatre Awards celebrate exceptional achievement in high school musical theater across Oregon. Throughout the 2025–2026 academic year, 18 participating high school productions were evaluated for their artistry, creativity, and dedication. The ceremony will showcase performances from participating schools and honor the students and educators who bring musical theatre to life in our state.

This year’s ceremony is co-directed by Kara Churchill and Keri Davis, with Vanessa Fuller serving as MC.

Two students will be named Outstanding Performers in a Leading Role and will go on to represent Oregon at the National High School Musical Theatre Awards® (NHSMTA®), also known as the Jimmy Awards®, in New York City on June 22, 2026. The Jimmy Awards spotlight the nation’s top high school musical theatre performers in a Broadway-style showcase, offering scholarship opportunities and invaluable professional experiences.

Harburg Academy for Musical Theatre presents If I Were A Bell", a celebration of the composer/lyricist Frank Loesser (1910-69) who wrote the songs for such timeless classics as Guys And Dolls, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, Greenwillow and The Most Happy Fella and sell as a host of films. Loesser’s songs include “Never Will I Marry “, “Adelaide’s Lament”, “Standing on the Corner”, “Happy to Keep His Dinnner Warm”, "Two Sleepy People", "On A Slow Boat To China", and more!

Two Shows: Sunday, March 15 3:00 and 5:30 pm – Adults $10.00, Youth $5.00
