Looking for a caregiver for an elderly lady living in a facility in Coos Bay. Primary duty would be companionship, walks around the facility, and other activities as client requests. Scheduling to be made with the nursing facility where the client lives.

Looking for a caregiver for an elderly lady living in Junction City. Primary duty would be companionship and occasional outings as client requests for 1-3 hours per visit. Scheduling to be made with the nursing facility where the client lives.


Client is frail and a bit confused. Also likes people who are quiet but still able to make conversation as needed. Client meals that you purchase will be reimbursed up to $10. Mileage will be reimbursed at the federal rate and hourly wage set at $17 per hour.

Drive client’s car to appointments, shopping, errands, perhaps to classes.

Medication oversight. Act as a coach/motivator/cheerleader. Encourage her to workout, go for a walk, eat well, etc. Must know how to care for horses and willing to do so. Minor housekeeping.

3 days a week, 5-8 hours a day.

It's going to be hot this weekend! Hot weather is dangerous, and seniors are particularly prone to its threat. Nearly 400 Americans die from heat waves each year. Keep hydrated by drinking plenty of water. Dress lightly and wear appropriate clothing. Try to stay in air-conditioned buildings as much as possible. Do your best to avoid exercise and strenuous activities. Limit your outdoor activities to when it's coolest. A few simple precautions are all that's needed to keep safe.
