🧡 23 years of yoga in Eugene. 13 years with Jess.

For more than two decades, this studio has been a place for people to move, breathe, grow, and connect. As Eugene’s first hot yoga studio, Wild Light Yoga has built a community rooted in the practice of power and presence. Showing up, staying steady, and supporting one another both on and off the mat.

For the past 13 years, Jess and the team has continued this legacy with deep appreciation for the students who make this space what it is. Your dedication, energy, and commitment to practice are what keep this community strong.

Cold and flu season tends to linger here in Oregon. If you are feeling run down, giving your body the right kind of care can make a meaningful difference in how quickly you recover. Sometimes the most supportive approach is simply slowing down and allowing the body the space it needs to heal.

Here are a few simple ways to support recovery:

🌿 Hydrate more than you think you need.
Warm herbal teas, lemon water, and nourishing broths help maintain hydration and support the immune system. Proper hydration also helps the body flush out lingering toxins.

🌿 Rest and reset your nervous system.
When we are sick, the body benefits from deep rest. Gentle practices such as restorative yoga or yoga nidra can help the nervous system shift into a healing state and support recovery.

🌿 Use heat to support circulation.
Once you begin feeling better, light movement and heat can help your body reset. Hot yoga encourages circulation and allows the body to release toxins through sweat. Start slowly and keep the intensity gentle.

🌿 Prioritize sleep.
Sleep remains one of the most powerful immune boosters available. Creating a calm evening routine and allowing yourself extra rest can support the body’s natural healing processes.

🌿 Listen to your body.
If you are actively sick, it is best to rest at home and return to the studio once you feel ready. Your body will thank you, and so will your community.
Take care of yourself, move gently, and come back to your practice when your body is ready.

Join Laura Black and Karan Estee for a peaceful spring retreat, where we will gather at the historic Yachats Inn for a nourishing weekend of practice and connection. Classes will include vinyasa flow, restorative, and yin yoga, along with meditation sessions designed to help us settle into presence and community.

There will be time to explore local shops, enjoy the coast, or simply rest. An astrology talk will help us tune into the energy of the season as we welcome spring together.

This retreat is perfect for anyone looking to step away from the busyness of daily life and reconnect with themselves through yoga, nature, and community.

💲 $200 for the weekend

Heat is a teacher. 🔥

In a hot yoga practice, circulation increases, fascia becomes more pliable, and muscles respond with greater elasticity. The warmth allows you to explore range of motion with awareness, not force. Alignment becomes clearer. Breath becomes steadier. Distraction falls away.

Practicing in heat strengthens cardiovascular endurance, supports detoxification through sweat, and trains the nervous system to remain calm under intensity. You learn how to stay present when things feel challenging. That is yoga.

For dedicated yogis, heat can deepen drishti, refine bandha engagement, and build the stamina required for longer holds and more advanced transitions. It reveals where you brace and where you breathe. It asks for discipline and rewards you with clarity.

🔥 New Client Special: 1 Month Unlimited for $49 (Oregon residents only.)
🔥 Single Drop in: $22
