Today is the beginning of new COVID-19 precaution rules for Lane County.

As the two-week 'freeze' ends, Lane County enters precautions under the Extreme Risk Guidance effective December 3.

What that means for Lane County:
-Gatherings are limited to a max of 6 people, recommended limit: 2 households
-Indoor dining prohibited, outdoor dining allowed, takeout highly recommended, with eating and drinking establishments closing at 11:00 p.m.
-Indoor recreation, fitness and entertainment is prohibited
-Retail and shopping is limited to 50% capacity, curbside pick-up is encouraged
