Our team soaked up the sun last week at the Springfield Utility Board Safety and Wellness Fair at Lively Park. Wellness nurse Mary Joy Sahara offered free blood pressure checks and Peer Support Specialist Christina Pecue shared details of SUB employees' EAP benefits.

We always have a good time when we stop by Oak Street Medical to see Dr. Kirk Jacobson and Ed Valenzuela, PA-C. Cascade Health’s Diabetes & Nutrition Education program is expanding to include on-site shared appointments for Oak Street patients, allowing them to see their primary care provider and Registered Dietitian (and DNE Manager) Tracy Beckmann at the same time. The independent living community recently held a car wash fundraiser to benefit Pete Moore Hospice House, and we’re so grateful for their generosity. We’re honored to care for Volante residents—both through home health services that help them age in place, and at the hospice house when that time comes.
