With ongoing uncertainty around federal supports and household food budgets tightening for many families, it’s important to know where local food resources are available. More than 75,000 Lane County residents rely on SNAP, and any disruption can add stress for households across the community.

Food for Lane County, the region’s largest nonprofit food bank, lists 59 food pantries and meal sites across Lane County where community members can access free meals or groceries to take home.

As a licensed by the state of Oregon, New Horizons is fully staffed to manage services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We’ve been caring for local residents of all ages and their families. New Horizons In-Home Care Solutions is widely recognized as the premiere provider of in-home care services throughout the State of Oregon. With Registered Nurses managing the administration of care throughout all offices in Eugene, Corvallis, Salem and Florence, New Horizons’ clinical competency is unsurpassed in the industry. The largest in-home care agency in Oregon with an extensive staff of trained caregivers and nursing support, New Horizons is uniquely positioned to meet all your in home care needs.

We can offer the following services in your home as much or as little as you like and you will pay only for the amount of care you need. Our quality services will continue to include ongoing case management by a Nurse and are flexible so they can be increased or decreased as needed. Depending on the type of care you need, New Horizons In-Home Care has a wide variety of services, all performed by qualified & experienced staff members. Types of Services: Companions and Homemakers make it easier to live with independence. They can assist with whatever will help you live with new independence: • Errands • Transportation • Housekeeping • Laundry • Meal preparation In addition to the tasks of a Companion and Homemaker, Personal Care Assistants and Certified Nursing Assistants help with daily personal care such as: • Bathing • Dressing • Grooming • Mobility • Personal hygiene • Medication assistance An excellent team of Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses can provide nursing care to you in your home, such as: • Diabetic care • Wound care • Pediatric care • Other nursing services In situations where a Home Health or Hospice Agency is involved we will work closely to supplement their services. In addition to general in-home care services, New Horizons In-Home Care offers experienced care for people of all ages with a variety of needs, such as: • Post-operative care • Medically fragile children • Post traumatic injuries • Neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, ALS, and other illnesses.
