At Ripple Journeywork, we acknowledge that our center is located on the traditional homelands of the Kalapuya people along the Willamette River. After forced removal and government policies, Kalapuya descendants became part of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde and the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians. We honor their ongoing presence, cultural resilience, and relationship with this region.
We offer psilocybin services within Oregon’s legal Measure 109 framework, which is distinct from Indigenous practices. We recognize that sacred mushroom traditions have been carried by Indigenous communities worldwide—especially the Mazatec people of Oaxaca—and we do not claim their ceremonies or lineage.
As part of our commitment to reciprocity, we contribute to community-led efforts in Oaxaca that honor the legacy of María Sabina. We see reciprocity as an ongoing practice of humility, respect, and care.
