Abdominal cramping can happen for a variety of reasons, and there is an incredibly wide range of what is considered "normal." However, that doesn't mean you have to simply deal with your pain or that you shouldn't bring it up with a medical provider!

The term "chemical pregnancy" simply refers to an early miscarriage, typically around five weeks of pregnancy. Even though it has its own term, and often occurs before someone even knows they are pregnant, a chemical pregnancy is still a miscarriage. Your feelings after a pregnancy loss matter, and there is no right or wrong way to feel.
