Happy 4th of July! Celebrating our Independence with one of our residents, Bob. He started his military career with the Navy and ended as a medic with the Marines. He later became an endodontist. He served in the Vietnam War. He retired in Oakridge - his favorite place in the world! Bob has been a resident of ours for eight years. Although he is disabled, Waterford Grand has helped keep up his health and he is very proud of his 116/60 blood pressure reading! We appreciate you, Bob!

Ever heard of Bioenergetic Therapy? Our very own Fitness Trainer, Chris, will be teaching a class tomorrow at 3p in our fitness center. Here's a synopsis of what Bioenergetic Movement is all about:

Intentional physical movement used to address emotional and physical imbalances. It focuses on releasing tension in the body, connecting with feelings, and exploring the relationship between physical sensations and past experiences. These movements can include shaking, walking, running, or dancing, and are often guided by a therapist to help individuals release stored tension and reconnect with their bodies.

So come by and shake off those feelings and start reconnecting with your body!

Pool exercise class today at 2p with our EverFit instructor, Chris. Water exercising is an excellent way to get the exercise you need without compromising your joints. It may be dreary outside, but it's warm in our pool!
