Sharing on behalf of the Lebanon Police Department, Lebanon Oregon...

On October 4, 2025, the Lebanon Police Department received the report of a missing elderly male that has dementia. Eighty-eight-year-old Donald Carroll left his home sometime early in the morning of October 4th and has not returned home. Donald was reported last seen on Highway 20 near the Lebanon Walmart and a GPS tracker attached to his keychain was last pinged at McKercher Park near Crawfordsville. There has not been a last known location for Donald since 11:00 AM.

Donald is described as having grey hair and wearing eyeglasses, and is approximately 5’9”. Donald drives a grey 2016 Ford Edge bearing Oregon Smokey Bear plate .

Donald’s family is concerned for his welfare and is asking the public for help in locating him. If Donald or his vehicle are located, please call 911 immediately.

I was wondering, as I was watching a Harry Potter movie the other night, who is the bestselling novelist of all times? I was thinking it might be R.K. Rowling with her huge success with Harry Potter novels, but I was wrong! It happens to be Agatha Christie. J.K Rowling sold 600 million copies worldwide whereas Agatha Christie has sold over 2 billion copies! One of her most popular novels is Murder on the Orient Express. All her books are a good read on a cozy autumn day.
