What most people don’t talk about is how cancer treatment changes the parts of your body you never expected. Chemo, radiation, and hormone therapy don’t just target cancer. They also disrupt the vaginal microbiome, the ecosystem that keeps tissue healthy and comfortable.

When that balance is off, it can mean burning, dryness, pain with intimacy, or just not feeling like yourself anymore. It’s frustrating, it’s isolating, and it’s not something that ends when the last round of treatment is over.

But there are ways to support and restore the microbiome, and even small steps can make a big difference in comfort and healing. 🌸
