We offer a Traditional Cedar Chest and introduced the EZ Slide Urn in 2020. The EZ Slide Urn has recently been redesigned in 2024 with a "patent pending" dovetail closure ensuring the best and most secure fit. Our Retail Division, Cedar Valley Box Shop includes a full collection of handcrafted boxes. We offer Wine, Bourbon/Spirits boxes, Human Urns, Pet Urns and Keepsake Boxes in all shapes, sizes and styles. Our signature satin finish is a distinctive trademark of Cedar Valley Boxes. We offer a full design studio equipped with two designers and state-of-the-art laser engraving services for our Wholesale and Retail Customers. We also offer draft site services to blueprint any size custom box you may need. The Cedar Valley Horse & Equine Urn is meticulously crafted using 3/4” Eastern Aromatic Cedar and interlocking miter joint construction. This substantial chest holds over 1300 cubic inches (1300 # inches living weight)and features our signature clear satin finish on the exterior. The vintage hasp closure and padlock are the perfect accents to the rich, patterned cedar. May be engraved. 🐎

No worries…we did donate most of the wood to local residents that will put this wood to good use. 🪵 Some of it will be coming back to us after being milled, so Doug can make beautiful detail walls in our new home on the Mountain. ⛰️ Phase II—the foundation coming soon. 🔜 It’ll so exciting to see a big dream unfolding before our eyes. It means a lot to so many. 🤎

FIVE YEARS ago this month we opened up our Etsy shop. Doug mentioned trying “that Etsy thing” and it seemed like a good idea. 😁 Back then we were only selling wholesale cedar Pet Urns, but we knew we wanted to expand our business.

We started out offering engraved pet urns and quickly branched out into wine and bottle boxes. Human Urns and Keepsake Boxes quickly followed. Creating special memorial items and precious heirlooms for our customers has been such purposeful and meaningful work.

It’s honestly hard to believe we’ve made over 12,000 sales, because time has passed so quickly! 🤯 Along with that we’ve earned and maintained a 5 ⭐️ Etsy rating. It’s been a labor of love and I feel such a sense of pride in all of it. 🩷

I’m so grateful for the hard work and beautiful cedar pet urns made by the Wholesale Team. And I’ve been blessed to work with THE best Custom Builder/Team Lead, Riley who makes the job a lot of fun.

A lot can change in five years…

Our goal has always been to build THE best quality “Made in USA” cedar box sold at a reasonable price. It was also a priority to deliver “on time” to our Customers and to provide an excellent buying experience.

We’ve moved ahead offering services and options that are completely in line with Wholesale Manufacturing and have grown a large scale Retail Sales Division from scratch.

The past few years have been a carefully orchestrated dance of trial and error, failure and success. It feels good to have arrived in that place where we know we’re making the best quality cedar box on the market.

Budget priced, inexpensive and low cost all have their place, but it’s never been our driving force to be the “cheapest urn/box builder.” I think we can all agree that receiving a quality product with no sketchy surprises feels good and that “Made in USA” has an awesome ring to it. 🇺🇸

When one of our Customers receives a Cedar Valley box, we hope they have that special feeling about it. We hope it’s something they will admire and value for a lifetime. 🤎 To us, that’s the greatest success of all.
