One of my favorite things to do in aesthetics is restorative work. I post only a small selection of my work that highlights certain things that I believe make a huge difference in obtaining a more youthful, rested appearing you, without changing you! What I hear all the time from my clients is that they have lost volume in their lips due to natural aging ( just like you lose cheek, mid-face and undereye volume), but they are afraid of having lip filler because they don’t want them to look too embellished. Below is an example of restorative, age appropriate lip filler! The second pic is of a younger client who wanted lip enhancement. I added volume to her upper and lower lips and extended the lateral edges of her lips to give her the size she wanted and reveal some of her outer lips that were hiding 😊

Recent cheek and midface volume restoration! I placed the filler under, not in, the skin. Then, I mold the filler using my hands and taper the edges using a slightly lighter filler. The result is completely natural looking, enhances collagen production and lasts an average of 18mos. I didn’t change her or enhance anything. I simply restored the lost volume that aging causes! 😊

I used RHA2 to add volume and projection to the center of the top lip, and tapered the edges, without creating a ledge. I then created a slight saddle on the lower lip with a little enhancement of the pillows. The result is elegant and natural looking! Michael Sonnier Aesthetics. 337-580-2867.

What a difference a year can make! She had serious sun damage and dark areas of melasma. The stress of being a business owning, sun worshipping 40 something year old had caused her to have unwanted wrinkles, collagen and structural loss. We started with microneedling sessions using Benev exosomes. I restored her lost volume in the cheeks, mid-face and under eye area. Then a subtle but elegant lip enhancement.
