We’ve had to get creative as a family–for example, we’ve had to start making most of our toiletries and household products because of our children’s allergies. We’ve received a lot of instruction and encouragement along the way, and now we want to share our stories, products, recipes, and more with you to give you a boost on your journey. We are also Wellness Advocates ( #281049) for dōTERRA Essential Oils. It is our desire to walk beside and encourage others as they take their wellness into their own hands by educating them about alternative self-care options.

Our crew can’t breathe! Puffy eyes. Scratchy voices. Sore throats. It’s that time of year. These three oils have antihistamine properties and when you combine them they work together even better. Our son just came down because he was having a hard time breathing. I rubbed the oils on his chest and he started breathing better within seconds.

We might just cry! We have less than two gallons of milk left from our Blossom. She went to another farm Tuesday to hang out with her boyfriend. Here’s to buying store bought milk for the next two months.

I have a teenage daughter! I’m so excited!

Evangeline turned 13 yesterday. People have told me for years that the teen years are always the worst. We know people that have had the opposite experience. Sin and rebellion do not have to rule the hearts of our young people. In Christ, the curse has been broken. Our teens don’t have to be slaves/servants of sin, they can be children of God.

I have hope for the years ahead because of Christ. I will do my part in raising my children to fear God. What they do with their lives is up to them and I can’t control it but I’m not afraid because of the gospel of my King, the Lord Jesus Christ. May He be honored in our children’s lives!

It’s cold! Not our favorite day to homestead. But we do it. It’s worth it.

We went into wild game processing part time these past three months and processed 31 deer and part of a bear. It was awesome. I enjoyed it so much. Our community was so grateful that this service was available locally. The other nearest processor is an hour away.

We didn’t have a single complaint and we had several repeat customers and many good reviews. Here are a couple of them:

“Hey, Kyle! I’ve used our deer burger to make a couple of meals… it is so good! Thank you so much and I will definitely be referring folks to you! My daughter has even ate it (without knowing it’s deer) and ate it up! She can’t even tell the difference!”

“Good morning! Just wanted to message you real quick to tell you THANK YOU AGAIN!! The sausage is DELICIOUS. An for me to say that, is something, I do most of the cooking, and if I can taste the “ game” I will not eat it even if I cook it! That was absolutely delicious, the spicing was just right for me, the guys of course want it spicer/ hotter, but agree it is so so good!! We will definitely be back!! Good Job !!”

Creed fixed our fridge. I credit his ability to learn anything he wants to learn to classical Christian education.

This approach to education equips people with the tools they need to learn anything they want to learn. He didn’t need me to do this and he just saved us a boat load of money.

How we educate our children matters. I can’t recommend the classical Christian approach to education enough. In addition to this he shipped five orders to five new customers today.
