Not only do they look too cute to eat (almost!), but creating them brought so many smiles and giggles. It’s always a joy seeing creativity and community come together in such a fun, delicious way!

🎉 Celebrating 70 Years of Love! 💍💕

This week, we had the absolute honor of celebrating a truly remarkable milestone with Joan and her beloved husband, Ed. On Tuesday, they marked their 70th wedding anniversary—a beautiful testament to love, commitment, and a life well-lived together. 💐

To help them celebrate this special day, Eureka Nursing Center provided a festive cake and shared in the joy of the occasion with them. It was a heartfelt moment filled with smiles, stories, and sweet memories.

🎉 A Day Late, But Worth the Wait! 🇲🇽✨

Yesterday, we brought the spirit of Cinco de Mayo to Eureka Nursing Center with a festive lunchtime fiesta! Residents and staff enjoyed a nacho station, the sweet fun of decorating sombrero-shaped cookies, and lively mariachi music that filled the halls with joy. 🎶🌮

The big hit—literally—was the colorful piñata, with both residents and staff taking a swing and sharing lots of laughs!

🌸 April Photo Dump at Eureka Nursing Center! 🌸

April was blooming with fun, laughter, and sweet surprises here at ENC! We packed the month with memorable moments, and we’re excited to share some of our favorites with you:

🎭 We kicked off the laughs with an April Fools’ Day prank on our staff—serving up some very convincing "brown-E's"! It was all in good fun, and the reactions were priceless!
🐰 Then it was time for our Annual Easter Egg Hunt, where residents and families enjoyed searching for eggs and a festive visit from the Easter Bunny!
🫘 Residents brought the energy to our always-entertaining Butterbean Auction—bidding was competitive and full of laughs!
💐 A heartfelt thank you to the 4H Club for the beautiful flower donations—your kindness brought smiles all around.
🍦 Our staff enjoyed a sweet treat courtesy of Marshall Elementary School, who set up a delicious ice cream bar to show their appreciation—thank you so much!
🌳 We also celebrated Arbor Day in style, kicking things off with Thirsty Thursday and ending the day by creating our very own tree in the activities room—crafty, creative, and meaningful!

We’re so grateful for the joy, support, and sense of community this month brought. 💕
